Flyleaf Creative developed a calendar for the 2009 Season Brochure for the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, that offered far more functionality than what you typically find in print. By showcasing the time relationships of individual events, the calendar let festival-goers see events in relation to each other’s start- and end-times. The big idea was to encourage attendees and day-trippers to purchase tickets for more than one event and spend the whole day in New Haven.
The ticket order form features a complex set of grids that use space efficiently while offering a calm environment for festival-goers who prefer to order tickets via mail or phone.
